Canadian indie rock troupe Islands are set to return to the UK with their latest tour launching tomorrow (October 1st).
Long hailed by their Canadian peers as musicians of a rare, rare, breed Islands began to get critical recognition with the release of new album 'Arm's Way'. Partially recorded in a barn, the album is a wonderful blend of superb songwriting and atmospheric production.
Signed to Rough Trade in the UK, the band have more than enough talent to justify a space in their illustrious stable. New single 'Creeper' is taken from the album, and is a great introduction to the band - bold, brash songwriting that is unashamedly epic.
Islands release new single 'Creeper' on October 6th. The band will play the following tour dates:
September 19th - Belfast, Auntie Annie's Porterhouse
September 20th - Dublin, The Hub
September 21st - Cork, Cyprus Avenue
