More additions confirmed

Iron & Wine have been named as the third and final headliner for this year's Green Man.

Held in the the Welsh mountains, The Green Man is shaping up to be one of the summer's finest events. With the line up not even complete, the festival is heaving with potentially incredible performances.

Headliners include Fleet Foxes and Explosions In The Sky, with Iron & Wine announced as the third and final act to top the bill.

Led by Sam Beam, the group returned earlier this year with their new album 'Kiss Each Other Clean'. Iron & Wine are a startlingly beautiful live act, drawing on a back catalogue steeped in classic songwriting.

Due to close this year's Green Man, Iron & Wine will join a bill peppered with special performers. The Welsh event has added countless new acts to the line up, including an appearance from James Blake.

Releasing his debut album to widespread acclaim, James Blake recently stormed SXSW with a hugely emotive performance in the Texan sun. With his live performances only growing in confidence, his appearance will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of this summer's event.

Elsewhere, Noah & The Whale will showcase their redemptive third album 'Last Night On Earth' while Welsh psychedelic wonder Gruff Rhys will return to his spiritual homeland.

Each year the Brecon Beacons site is blessed by Celtic druids, who cast a rain spell to keep fans safe from a torrential downpour. With that in mind, a set from Gruff Rhys is the perfect compliment for the pagan theology.

Recently releasing his new album 'Hotel Shampoo' the singer is backed by a Welsh surf-pop group, adding a joyous vibrancy to his live performances.

Tickets are on sale now.

Green Man runs between August 19th - 21st.
