Scottish instalment confirmed
Independent Label Market

The Independent Label Market is set to head North to Glasgow for a one off event later this year.

Clash was born in Scotland, and during its early years operated from twin offices in Dundee and Glasgow. With a high percentage of staff spending the bulk of their adult lives North of the Border, it's fair to say that Scotland - and Scottish music - remains close to our heart.

Clearly, it's also important to the Independent Label Market. Now a fixture in London thanks to its regular Spitalfields market takeover, organisers are now fixing their sights on a Caledonian instalment.

Making its Glasgow debut on October 12th, the Independent Label Market will take control of the Barras Arts and Design Centre. Amongst the first names to be confirmed are AED, Numbers, Optimo, Chemikal Underground, Lucky Me, Soma Records, Creeping Bent and more.

As ever, there will be entertainment on the day with DJ sets already confirmed from Belle & Sebastian, Edwyn Collins, Optimo's JD Twitch and members of the Numbers crew.
