The Independent Label Market is set to arrive in Glasgow this weekend for its first ever Scottish instalment.
A mainstay in London's Spitalfields area, the Independent Label Market is branching out. Events have taken place in the United States, with Canada soon following suit.
Now the market is set to head to Scotland. Announced earlier this year, the Independent Label Market is set to arrive in Glasgow tomorrow (October 12th) for a full day of artist appearances, DJ sets and exclusive bargains.
Taking place at the Barras Art & Design Centre, labels involved include Glasgow mainstays such as Soma, Numbers, Chemikal Underground and more. Alongside this, the Independent Label Market is inviting along a number of younger, smaller imprints, with the likes of Gerry Loves, Song By Tong, Lost Map and Olive Grove due to take part.
As if that wasn't enough, DJ sets are promised from Edwyn Collins and Belle & Sebastian, while food comes courtesy of local outlets Smoak and Fire In Babylon.

The Independent Label Market comes to Glasgow on October 12th (11am - 5pm).
