Franz Ferdinand are set to make their long awaited return this week, with new single 'Ulysses' due for release on January 19th.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but after more than three years on the sidelines many are wondering if Franz Ferdinand can still cut it. Trends have come and gone, but the Scottish indie gentry remain with forthcoming album 'Tonight: Franz Ferdinand' their most ambitious to date.

The Killers enjoyed a stunning 2008, and are set to kick off the new year with anthemic new single 'Spaceman'. Taken from their 'Day & Age' album, it is no doubt set to slay the charts.
