James Friley drops a new treat

Idiot Glee is counting down to his latest British tour, set to open in London on May 12th.

Real name James Friley, Idiot Glee caused a massive stir earlier this year. The Kentucky based producer loops his voice, creating vast choral effects which ripple across his summer pop songs.

Live shows are something special, with Idiot Glee twisting his material in fresh new directions. Completing debut album 'PADDYWHACK!' the producer has managed to find enough focus to bring the disparate elements of his songs together.

Due to be released next Monday (May 16th) the album gathers his unique vignettes of sunshine pop. Reminiscent at times of doo wop, Idiot Glee shares the same sense of innocence which ran through those golden 50s groups.

As a special bonus for fans, Idiot Glee has decided to give away a new version of 'Let's Get Down Together'. Recorded at the Dreamtrack studios, the producer is caught live before the upcoming tour...
