Ian Brown UK Tour Details

Returning indie icon Ian Brown has confirmed details of a massive UK tour due to kick off in November.

Ian Brown is one of the most iconic frontmen in British music. Leading The Stone Roses, his attitude onstage fired the imaginations of countless aspiring singers including a young Liam Gallagher.

However there is life beyond The Roses, with Ian Brown's solo career also including its fair share of hits. The icon is due to return with his new album 'My Way' later this year, which is set to show the world just why Ian Brown doesn't need a Stone Roses re-union.

A possible comeback was mooted earlier this year, with John Squire scotching those rumours with a new art work. Arranging a number of exhibitions Squire revealed that he has turned his back on music to focus on his art.

In a new interview with Clash magazine Ian Brown revealed that he felt this was to cover for the lack of success John Squire has enjoyed in his solo career.

"I think he’s had to find his peace doing that, cos no one was having his work" he claimed. "His Seahorses record was rubbish, his solo records did nothing, he couldn’t sell gig tickets; he had to do summat and, knowing him, he’s creative and he likes being successful and creating, so it would have been killing him that."

"His music was being blanked, he was going into another realm, I think. He’s not that great with working with other people, you know, he’s not that much of a team player, he’s not a people man, he’s solitary artist; painting would suit him a treat. He’s not into sharing anything, John."

Ian Brown is due to release his new album 'My Way' on September 28th. The singer will follow this with a series of tour dates:
