Hot Chip have confirmed plans for a full British tour this October, with support from Disclosure and Django Django.
Hot Chip remain a fantastic, peerless live band. Re-contextualising underground dance styles for a group format, the band recently returned with their sixth studio album ‘In Our Heads’.
Heading across the country on a brief headline tour, Hot Chip finished by performing at this year’s instalment of Lovebox. Never ones to rest on their laurels, the band have now announced plans for a full nationwide tour in October.
Kicking off in Norwich on October 8th, the tour then hits Leeds, Birmingham and Glasgow. Heading to Manchester, Hot Chip will then play dates in Bristol and Southampton before finishing in London.
Set to play Brixton Academy on October 19th, a limited pre-sale for fans opens tomorrow (June 19th). General sales opens on Wednesday (June 20th).
Support on the tour alternates between Django Django and Disclosure.
Here’s ‘Flutes’.
