Electro geek chic wonders Hot Chip are set to perform at this year's Edinburgh Hogmanay celebrations in the city's Concert In The Gardens event on New Year's Eve.
The celebrations are some of the largest events in the world to announce the coming of the New Year. Scotland prides itself on the nation's love of Hogmanay (the Scottish name for New Year) though if you ask us it's not as good as it once was. However, the Concert In The Gardens event is already looking to be a tremendous party worthy of any day in the year.
Aside from Hot Chip, Groove Armada and Glaswegian twee-poppers Belle And Sebastian have been added to a bill that already contains Glasvegas and Paolo Nutini.
Last year's event featured a special performance from Kasabian who were joined by none other than Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher. The events in Edinburgh regularly gather huge crowds, and this year should be no exception.
