Spider And The Flies Prepare Mini-LP
Horrors' side project Spider And The Flies, featuring Spider Webb and Tomethy Furse, have announced details of a new mini-album to be released on February 2nd, it has been announced.
The band were formed during Horrors downtime, and have already gained a cult following due to their love of primitive electronica. Forthcoming mini-album 'Something Clockwork This Way Comes' is said to be inspired by the work of the BBC Radiophonic Orchestra and Delia Derbyshire. Pioneers of British electronic music, Derbyshire was responsible to the iconic theme to Doctor Who.
Spider And The Flies' forthcoming mini-album will feature the now-deleted single 'Metallurge' as well as an extended version of fans' favourite 'Desmond Leslie'.
'Something Clockwork This Way Comes' was recorded by Barry 7 of Add N To X, using only analogue instruments and is set to be released through Mute Irregulars.
Spider And The Flies are set to release their new mini-album 'Something Clockwork This Way Comes' on February 2nd.
