Hop Farm Festival Returns

Doves, Weller and more for fest

This year's Hop Farm festival is set to return in July, and tickets for the Kent festival are now on sale.

The ever-expanding line-up for 2009 will see The Pigeon Detectives, Paul Weller, Mystery Jets, Echo & The Bunnymen and many more hitting the Kent event between the 4-5th July this summer.

Organisers were dealt a blow when their three-day planning permission was rejected last year, however the independent festival will return for two days, with organisers safe in the knowledge the festival's capacity has almost doubled in the last year to 53,000 in 2009.

As well as a host of world-beating acts, the two days will also see a variety of upcoming acts such as Dananananaykroyd, Fight Like Apes, Florence & The Machine and ramshackle grunge-trio Let's Wrestle also playing.
