The Hold Steady will reflect their prolific album outputs by announcing a full UK tour which is set to take place in September and October.
The band recently released their fourth (and possibly best) album 'Stay Positive', since they formed in 2003,marking them out as one of America's hardest working bands, almost scoring a one-a-year LP rate.
After recording the album, the band also managed to play many leading UK festivals, such as T In the Park and Glasto, with Craig Finn warning the crowd on the dangers of gambling at the latter festival, before launching into 'Boys And Girls In America' highlight 'Chips Ahoy'.
Nonetheless, we'd still give good odds on The Hold Steady pulling out some staggering rock n roll sets come October.
