Guns N Roses Rock Band Team Up

Returning rock legends Guns N Roses are set to allow fans to take their place in a new version of the computer game 'Rock Band'.

Now essentially consisting of singer Axl Rose plus extra musicians, Guns N Roses remain one of the biggest names in rock music. Silent for over a decade, the band broke cover last year with the long awaited 'Chinese Democracy' album.

Whilst not the band's finest moment it nonetheless was a moment with one of rock's most legendary acts. A new instalment of the game 'Rock Band' is set to be released this spring which will be based on the songs from 'Chinese Democracy'.

"They felt the record - based on the nature and complexity of the depth of instrumentation - deserved a bit more attention and some more involved elements than they've generally dealt with," Axl Rose told Billboard.

"I have no idea what that means, but it's my understanding they were very enthusiastic."

The album was also released on rival game 'Guitar Hero' last year.
