Grimes has posted a typically colourful trailer for her upcoming 'Genesis' video.

Grimes has always had a visual element. Claire Boucher's project flits between audio / visual, with the Canadian performer working within a wider network of artists.

Recent album 'Visions' has proved to be no exception. Backed by an increasingly beautiful live show, Grimes has unveiled a series of clips which demonstrate an astute awareness of the visual depiction her music demands.

'Genesis' is the latest in line for such treatment. Stripped from the album, the track is set to gain a full video, with Grimes posting a teaser online yesterday.

It's a typically flamboyant effort, with Claire Boucher spinning round and round and round - dancing in the desert like some alt diva. Watch it below.
