Grimes Postpones Live Dates

Due to inner ear problem

Grimes has been forced to postpone a series of Canadian shows due to an ongoing inner ear problem.

For Clare Boucher, 2012 has represented a breakthrough year. Grimes has won overwhelming acclaim, with the Montreal based artist able to take her stunning album 'Visions' across the globe. Arranging a full Canadian tour, the homecoming has sadly not gone as planned.

Last night (October 16th) Grimes tweeted to fans, indicating that she was having hearing issues. Deciding to postpone a number of shows, the singer has axed three dates on her Canadian tour. Grimes wrote: "Hey guys, so sorry 4 the cancelled shows. im having trouble w hearing loss, tinnitus & am trying 2 stay away from loud music 4 a bit -_-".

In a follow up statement, Grimes' representatives wrote on Facebook:

Hey everyone! Grimes has been forced to cancel her scheduled dates in Calgary, Saskatoon and Winnipeg due to an inner ear problem. We apologize for the inconvenience and will work to reschedule these dates as soon as possible. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase. Tickets purchased via Northern Tickets will automatically be refunded to the credit card used for the purchase. Thank you again for understanding and Grimes will be back soon!!!!!!
