Welsh festival returns

Tickets for this summer's Green Man festival are set to go on sale this Tuesday (February 15th).

Founded by alt folk duo It's Jo And Danny, Green Man has long since outgrown any musical ambitions the pair may have had on their own. Moving to Brecon Beacons in Wales, the festival has become one of Europe's most distinctive events.

Last year Celtic druids blessed the site, attempting to ward off rain. In the end, the druids failed in that task but a wonderful weekend was had by the sold out crowd.

Preparing the site for this year's event, organisers have put together a short film containing highlights from 2010's instalment.

Recently, ClashMusic published an exclusive extract from Jeanette Leech's new book 'Seasons They Change'. An overview of the Acid / psychedelic folk scene, it focuses on the rise of Green Man.

Now Green Man is set to return. Line up details have yet to be confirmed, but fans are already rushing for tickets. Weekend passes are set to go on sale from Tuesday (February 15th).
