Great Escape 2010 Is Go

Brighton fest returns

After a year that saw Gang Of Four unleashing their angular art-pop, Pete Doherty playing yet another 'secret' show and Kasabian returning to air material from The West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum, anyone who attended this year's Great Escape will be pleased to know the dates for next year's fest have been confirmed.

With over 300 bands hitting the coastal City every year, The Great Escape has become one of the best weekends in the musical calendar, with the Brighton-based bash to take place between 13-15th May (2010).

With almost 50 venues being ram-raided annually by a host of up-and-coming bands, this year saw newcomers Kasms and Dananananaykroyd sharing stages with old-school favourites such as The Charlatans, who themselves played a greatest-hits set at this year's event.

Early-bird ticket deals for the 2010 event are available now, although acts set to appear have not been confirmed. Tickets are currently on-sale via their website HERE and are priced at £35.

You can also see the full Clash Music galleries from last year's event, part 1 is HERE and part 2 HERE.
