Grace Jones To Tour UK

Legendary diva Grace Jones has announced that she is to take her 'Hurricane' tour to the UK early in 2009.

Born in Jamaica, Jones came of age in New York where she began her modeling career. After becoming a recognized 'face' at ultra-hip Studio 54, Jones then embarked on a music career. While initially a disco artist, it is her work at Compass Point studios that is best remembered. A potent blend of world music and electronic influences, albums such as 'Nightclubbing' remain hugely influential.

Grace Jones is set to release her latest album 'Hurricane' later this year. A stunning live performer, she headlined this year's Bestival event on the Isle Of Wight.
