Clash is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to design two bespoke pairs of NIKEiD trainers.
This year’s Run To The Beat, powered by Nike+, is being held in Greenwich Park on the 8th of September. As media partners, Clash has been working closely with the event to bolster the all-important music selection. Each week, runners have been provided with carefully curated Nike+ Run Club Playlists from the Clash team, enabling them to listen to the latest tunes while hitting the streets to train for the 21km event. London’s biggest music half-marathon just got a whole lot louder.
And in preparation, the Clash fashion team has turned their midas touch to the iconic Air Max 1 – the running shoe turned streetwear staple which comes in a caramel brown, emblazoned with the instantly recognisable tick in bold red and strung with yellow laces. At the heels, the trainers come stamped with ‘CLSH RTTB’ in honour of this meeting of music and miles.
The second shoe that our designers have customised is the LunarGlide+5, a stylish and lightweight model that provides comfort and support for long distances. With a black and white glowing mesh layer for visibility in low light and a speckled sole design, they effortlessly tick the boxes for both style and practicality.
You can get your hands on a pair of the Air Max right now from Nike.com, here. The LunarGlide+5 will be available to buy from the 19th August.
