Gossip Confirm New UK Tour Dates

Disco-punk troupe Gossip are set to head out on tour this November after confirming a host of UK tour dates.

Based in Portland, Oregon Gossip were originally underground rock darlings. Led by the ever outspoken Beth Ditto the band released a series of cult albums through the seminal label Kill Rock Stars.

Snapped up by a major label Gossip's 2007 single 'Standing In The Way Of Control' became a party rockin' anthem. Re-worked by Soulwax the track is perhaps the group's most potent slice of disco-punk yet.

Returning this year with the eagerly anticipated album 'Music For Men' Gossip created a huge stir at the summer festivals. As always, Beth Ditto's lung bursting vocals were at the centre of the action with the frontwoman causing a stir wherever she went.

Produced by multi Grammy Award winner Rick Rubin and recorded at the historic Shrangri La Studios in Malibu, the new album is one of Gossip's most accomplished efforts to date.

The upcoming British tour dates are the perfect way for Gossip to end the year. Opening with a special show in London's Forum venue the band will head off around the country before shipping out to the United States.
