Glasvegas DVD Release

One of the hottest bands in the country, Glasvegas are set to giveaway footage of a hometown show in Glasgow in a special edition of their debut album due to be released on September 8th.

The band played a gig at Glasgow's ABC2 venue on June 20th this year, which saw mass singalongs, stage invasions and a group well on their way to stardom. The tiny venue won't see their like again, with Glasvegas set for stadiums before too long.

Their self titled debut album is released on September 8th and is a fantastic blend of Spector pop, stadium dynamics and a hefty dose of The Proclaimers. Mean and moody, it reflects life on Glaswegian streets, but will resonate with anyone who has been stuck in the wrong part of town at the wrong time of night.

Containing anthemic singles "Geraldine" and "Daddy's Gone", the live footage is not be missed, and the DVD will also contain an acoustic performance of "Flowers And Football Tops", various promo videos and a documentary about the band.
