Give Out But Don't Give In

Artists such as Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie and Elbow's Guy Garvey are set to join forces to help out new acts in a month of workshops organised by O2 Undiscovered.

The scheme will unite top musicians to pass on advice in a series of panels and workshops. At each date the event will provide access to seven experts drawn from A&R, artist management, musician, producer, music lawyer, promoter, venue owner and music agent.

Each panel member will give a talk and answer questions on their career, with the aim being to help young musicians bewildered by the music industry. Beginning in Manchester Academy on May 2nd, further guests will include Ian brown, Embrace's Danny McNamara and The Vaselines' Eugene Kelly.

O2 Undiscovered workshops will visit the following venues:

May 3rd - Newcastle, Academy 2
May 10th - Glasgow, Academy
May 17th - Manchester, Academy 2
May 24th - Birmingham, Academy 2
May 31st - Bristol, Academy
