Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards have expanded once again, with Stubborn Heart, Marcos Valle and Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote all set to perform live.
An annual tradition, Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards are set to return in January. Taking control of London's historic KOKO venue, the event has already confirmed live performances from Mala In Cuba, The Invisible and Nick Mulvey.
Now organisers have made several new additions to the bill. Stubborn Heart rightly won acclaim for their debut album earlier this year, and the Brighton / London duo are set to appear live at the Worldwide Awards. Elsewhere, fans can expect performances from Marcos Valle and Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote.
A few moments ago the Worldwide team made another announcement, with Natalie Duncan, Hello Skinny, The Greg Foat Group and former Clash Ones To Watch star Romare all being added to the bill.
Alongside this, the Worldwide Awards team have revealed that fans will be able to vote for their favourite artists in some categories, here's Gilles Peterson with the full details: "This year I thought I'd switch things up a little and hook up a public vote in the following categories - Track of the Year, Label of the Year and Breakthrough Act of the Year. I've narrowed things down to 12 nominees in each category but the rest is up to you..."
Finally, the Worldwide team have pieced together a playlist based on the upcoming event - listen to it HERE.
Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards takes place on January 18th.
