Gang Gang Dance Side Project

I.U.D. album album announced

New York group Gang Gang Dance have taken their foot off the distortion pedal just long enough to announce details of a new album through side project I.U.D., it has been announced.

Last year's 'St. Dymphna' pushed long time cult favourites Gang Gang Dance up the critical charts, taking them closer than ever before to the mainstream. Perhaps in order to rectify matters, frontwoman Lizzi Bougatsos is set to release a new album with furiously noisy side project I.U.D.

Bougatsos is joined o the project by Growing's Sadie Laska. Undeniably filthy long player 'The Proper Sex' will be released in the United States on March 24th. Preceded by the seven inch single 'Daddy', the group are signed to Stateside label The Social Registry with the forthcoming single boasting a remix from Black Dice' Aaron Warren on the flipside.

I.U.D. are set to release new album 'The Proper Sex' on March 24th. Tracklisting is as follows:

1. Daddy
2. Glo Balls
3. Monk Hummer
4. 911
5. Mary Unmargaret
6. Girls Just Wanna (Time to Have Sex)
