An Oasis Of Calm Amidst The Chaos

You may well be enjoying a fantastic festival with you mates but sometimes amidst the orchestrated chaos, we all yearn for a moment to ourselves. Never more than when your tent sharing pal (who claimed they didn’t snore) does a passable impersonation of a beast from middle earth. Well, your respite could be here, an oasis of darkness brought to you by Future Shorts…
Future Shorts, the world’s largest short film network, is heading out of the city this summer and into the fields, bringing an array of exciting film events to some of the best music festivals in the UK and around the world.
From Glastonbury to Roskilde , Future Shorts will present festival revellers with an array of cutting-edge shorts from around the globe. Rocking the festival crowds will be Romain Gavras’ highly-controversial and yet to be explained music video for ‘Stress’ by Justice, the intensive games of cat and mouse in David O Reilly’s award-winning animation ‘Please Say Something’ and the raw, truthful and tender coming of age tale set in the belly of London Brixton’s “Top Girl”. Featuring short films from the UK , Australia , USA and beyond, this is a worldwide expedition in short film to unite a global festival audience.
From joy to sadness, surprise to stress, Future Shorts will take you on a roller coaster of emotions, providing the ultimate cinematic backdrop to the summer festivals experience.
