Strut onto the dance floor for what is billed as 'The Live Immersive Disco Experience' - Future Cinema Presents the ultimate dance party at The Troxy from the 15th June to the 7th July.
There will be live screenings of Saturday Night Fever, the film that brought disco to life, followed by after parties with Horse Meat Disco. Expect retro glam, funky flares, filthy American hotdogs, and dancing until dawn. Dazzle in 70’s cool with the original king of disco and take pleasure in Travolta’s nonchalant attitude and iconic style. You will be immersed in the world of New York’s hottest (fictional) club, 2001 Odyssey, where you’ll be psyched to let loose on the dance floor once the doors open.
This vibrant, new club night will feature special guests, dance competitions and prizes for best dressed, best hair-do, and of-course, best flares. Kym Mazelle of ‘Young Heart’s Run Free’ (Baz Luhrman’s Romeo & Juliet) will be making an appearance on select evenings. Don't panic, if you’re in need for some stylish 70’s gear head down to Beyond Retro, who held a pop-up event in partnership with Future Cinema on Thursday 6th June. They do vintage cool that will ignite your inner disco King/Queen. Saturday Night Fever is what led the Bee Gees to musical success, so lets remind ourselves how this happened.
If a disco-fuelled night of retro glam and colourful cocktails sounds like a night you can’t possibly miss, then get your tickets here. (www.futurecinema.co.uk/tickets)
