Frightened Rabbit have confirmed plans for a series of live shows this September.

Currently holed up in Wales, Frightened Rabbit are busy putting the finishing touches to their new album. The band's first for their new home Atlantic, the group previewed some new material on a recent Highland jaunt.

Playing a number of shows across the far North of Scotland, Frightened Rabbit sent Clash a series of postcards from each date. Written in typically imaginative, vivid style you can peruse those roadside missives HERE.

Now the band have revealed plans for a series of new shows. Focussing on Ireland, Frightened Rabbit will play dates on both sides of the border.

Opening with a show in Portrush on September 6th, the dates wind their way around the Emerald Isle before drawing to a close in Belfast. After this, Frightened Rabbit will play a brief flurry of shows on the UK mainland, including a one off London show on September 18th.

Tickets for the Irish shows go on sale next week, while tickets for all UK mainland shows went on sale this morning.

Fancy a taster? Frightened Rabbit took a film crew out on their Highland jaunt, with a short film said to be in the works. Check out a clip below:
