Frightened Rabbit have confirmed plans for a brand new EP, their first on Atlantic.

Frightened Rabbit have adjusted to life on a major label with rare aplomb. Signing to Atlantic, the band have been able to deal with heightened expectations in typically relaxed fashion.

Currently working on album #4, Frightened Rabbit have outlined plans for a quick EP. The Scottish group's first release on Atlantic, the as yet untitled EP will be released on September 25th.

Clash caught up with Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison late last year, probing him about the relationship with a major label. "I think we’ve been given more freedom this year than ever before, we’ve been given more time to write songs, more space, more resources and everything seems to be focussed on us making the album we want to. To be honest with you, I was bracing myself for major label nonsense – which I’ve heard all about and didn’t really want to deal with – but Atlantic seem to be unique in that they are so supportive of their less commercially viable artists. They just want us to make the best album we can. I’ve been blown away by how supportive they’ve been by what we want to do with the next record.”

Which is nice. Read the full feature HERE.
