Frightened Rabbit, London - early tickets
Clash readers get April gig tickets first!
ClashMusic.com is pleased to offer readers first-dibs, so to speak, on tickets to Frightened Rabbit’s sure-to-be-special London show next April, at the capital’s elegant Scala venue.
The Selkirk-based outfit released their second album, ‘The Midnight Organ Fight’, to much acclaim earlier this year via FatCat. It featured in a fair few year-end ‘best of’ lists. Next month they’re looking to get into the studio again to begin work on album three.
Frontman Scott Hutchison told Clash:
“I just want to make a new record. Make and release a new record. It’s important to us to continue working hard and, you know, keep the music coming, I guess? I hate bands that take far too long between albums. There’s no point in that. I want new songs to play live.
“(The last album) was done in America, and I really want this one to be done in Scotland, so that I can invite friends to come and play on it as well, so that the musical scope can go beyond what my own abilities dictate. I’d like more instrumentation and more people playing on the record.”
Tickets for the band’s Scala gig on April 15 go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, December 17, but Clash readers can get the drop on ‘em by purchasing tickets a day early via THIS LINK on Tuesday, December 16, from 9am. Happy gigging!
