'Skeleton Boy' to be next release

Acclaimed shoegaze trio Friendly Fires have revealed that their next single 'Skeleton Boy' will be released on March 2nd, it has been announced.

Friendly Fires have simply exploded over the past year. With a massively acclaimed debut album under their belts the band have earned a justifiable reputation as a great live act, including an incendiary cover of the Acid house classic 'Your Love'.

The group's next single will be 'Skeleton Boy'. Driven by titanic synths, the track was a stand out on their debut album and is a huge favourite with fans. Re-recorded with Paul Epworth (Bloc Party, Maximo Park and more) the song has been re-tooled for a chart invasion.

Friendly Fires have also been nominated for a South Bank award in the Times Breakthrough category. Up against some stiff competition, voting is open to the public so get there soon!
