Franz Ferdinand Confirm Headline Tour

Oh, and there's a new video online, too...

Franz Ferdinand have outlined plans for a full UK tour – check out the full list of dates below.

Franz Ferdinand have always been careful to draw the line between being a studio band and a live experience. With a glistening back catalogue to draw on, the Scottish outfit seem to rejoice in simply being a band.

Playing a handful of preview shows recently, Franz Ferdinand toasted the release of their fourth album with a one off London show. Well, now they're ready for a full spell on the road with a batch of headline dates set to run throughout March.

The Spring tour opens at the Roundhouse on March 14th, before hitting Brighton, Bristol, Southampton and more. Returning to Glasgow for a show at the Barrowlands on March 25th, the tour ends in Newcastle on March 27th.

Tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday (September 13th).

In addition to this, Franz Ferdinand are set to release new single 'Evil Eye' on October 28th. The video for the song was directed by Diane Martel, with Alex Kapranos introducing the clip: "The video is a gruesome blood orgy eye stab death romp wide-oh creep necro fest, play this on the telly if you dare you fuckers."

Franz Ferdinand have confirmed the following shows:

17 Brighton Dome
18 Bristol Academy
19 Southampton Guildhall
21 Birmingham Academy
