Massive headline show confirmed

Frank Turner has confirmed plans to perform at Wembley Arena –the largest headline show of his career.

It’s been a big year for Frank Turner. Beginning his solo career in the most DIY of circumstances, the singer broke into the charts with his new album ‘England Keep My Bones’. Years of hard work seemed to be paying off, with the English singer transformed into a genuine mainstream phenomenon.

Spending the summer on the road, Frank Turner has indicated his intentions to put down his acoustic and form a new group. Before then, though, the songwriter intends to play the largest headline show of his career.

Taking place on April 13th, the show will see Frank Turner step out onstage at Wembley Arena. Titled ‘Frank Turner’s Friday The 13th’ tickets for the one off show go on sale from 9am this Friday (October 14th).

A remarkable achievement, the one off date comes as the singer prepares to finish off his Autumn dates. Returning to the UK, the English songwriter has preparing six shows with three already sold out. Opening in Bournemouth on November 22nd, the dates include a visit to Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester before ending in London on November 27th.

Meanwhile, Frank Turner is also planning to release a new compilation on November 21st. ‘Second Three Years’ gathers off cuts, radio sessions and live takes, including cover versions of songs originally written by NOFX, Nirvana and more.

NOFX? Funnily enough Frank Turner recently spoke to ClashMusic about his favourite night out: “Going crazy with Fat Mike of NOFX in a porn dungeon in Los Angeles.”

Frank Turner will play the following live shows:

22 Bournemouth O2 Academy
23 Newport Newport Centre
24 Birmingham O2 Academy SOLD OUT
25 Glasgow Barrowlands
26 Manchester O2 Apollo SOLD OUT
27 London HMV Hammersmith Apollo SOLD OUT
