Four Tet For Parklife Weekender

Manchester event announce latest act

As an official media partner Clash can exclusively reveal that Four Tet is the seventh confirmed act set to play at Parklife Weekender in Manchester on the 8th and 9th of June, 2013.

Parklife organisers have built suspense to epic proportions by releasing line-up details an artist-a-day since the 31st of January culminating with the full line up announcement on Valentines Day, the 14th of February.

The artists that have been revealed so far are Hot Natured, Everything Everything, David Rodigan, Netsky, Heidi, Hudson Mohawke and newly disclosed Four Tet – another welcomed addition to what is shaping up to be a sterling line-up of world-class acts.

Last years Parklife Weekender saw performances from the likes of Dizee Rascall, Azealia Banks, Justice, The Flaming Lips, Kelis, – just some of the artists who ensured Parklife continued to be a sold out event and retain its title a Manchester’s official start to the summer.

Four Tet’s confirmed appearance comes soon after the release of his new 12’’ single on the 4th of February hilariously entitled ‘The Track I’ve Been Playing That People Keep Asking About and That Joy Used in His RA Mix and Daphni Played on Boiler Room’ which he is sure to perform at the festival.

Tickets for Parklife are available now, priced £69.50 and can be purchased from the website.  Alternatively, festivalgoers can also head to Manchester’s Eastern Bloc Records, Fallowfield's Font Bar, the Red Lion in Withington, Crash Records in Leeds and Liverpool's 3B Records.
