Foals Stage Invasion

Oxford math rock troupe Foals played Birmingham Academy last night (October 14th) with the gig ending in chaos with a support band led stage invasion.

The band are currently touring the UK, and took to the stage at the venue brimming with confidence. Support bands Dananananaykroyd and Holy Fuck played stunning sets earlier, leaving the crowd seething with energy.

Foals played their new jam opener 'XXXX' before launching into a set dominated by celebrated debut album 'Antidotes'. The band ended with 'Electric Bloom' as frontman Yannis Phillipakis ran through the crowd screaming the lyrics. Returning for an encore, the band were joined by drummers from Holy Fuck and Dananananaykroyd for a frenetic version of 'Two Steps Twice'. Fans and band members leaped onstage as Phillipakis once again leaped into the crowd.
