'Total Life Forever' out now

Oxford math rock outfit Foals have confirmed details of an upcoming Autumn tour.

With their debut album 'Antidotes' Foals became almost instant cult heroes. Their hugely distinctive sound was replicated by young bands across the country, meaning that when it came to recording their second album Foals were forced to think outside the box.

Retreating to a studio in a remote part of Sweden, the group forged a new sound. Much more lush and widescreen than their debut, it nonetheless retains aspects of the jerky math rock which fuelled their debut.

'Total Life Forever' is out now, with fans still adjusting to its widescreen songwriting. A handful of dates in early May saw Foals let their touring lungs breath, with the Oxford math rockers set to storm the festival circuit.

Confirming a series of festivals across Europe and beyond, Foals are due for a busy year with the band adding a host of Autumn dates.

Opening on October 29th, Foals will kick off the tour with a performance at Leeds O2 Academy. The twelve date tour is set to feature some of the group's biggest shows to date including a host of Academy venues.

Performing at Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol and beyond Foals are due to stay out on the road throughout November. Finishing with a show in London's O2 Academy Brixton on November 12th, the tour will see Foals unveil 'Total Life Forever'.

Tickets for the shows go on sale from Friday (May 21st).
