Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Beach House join the bill for 2013
Flow Festival

Flow Festival has announced it’s latest acts, bolstering an already star-studded lineup.

Helsinki’s number one festival, celebrating its tenth birthday this year, will take place between 7th - 11th August in the historic Suvilahti, a looming disused power plant, right in the heart of the capital. First off, Godspeed You! Black Emperor will be sending down a thunderous cacophony of post rock, following the epic success of their album ‘Allelujah! Don’t Bend! Ascend!’ Backed by a looping film with four 16mm projectors, it’s set to be an unforgettable experience, both aural and visual.

Baltimore’s dream pop duo Beach House are also being welcomed to Flow’s bill, along with Finnish electro outfit K-X-P who’ll be pulling out their indie psychedelia to wow crowds. An opportunity for non-Finns to sample the local talent, the fest has added the country’s leading bands - Rubik, Minä ja Ville Ahonen, Lau Nau and Pää Kii.

The new additions will be joining Flow’s breathtaking list of acts, including the inimitable Kraftwerk, rap’s hottest player Kendrick Lamar, The Knife, Todd Terje, Disclosure, Solange, and many more.
