Florence & The Machine is set to headline this summer's instalment of Coke Live Music Festival.
Whilst the British festival season is facing a number of ongoing challenges, other areas of Europe are - if anything - thriving. Take Eastern Europe: with cheap flights opening the area up to music fans, more and more people are taking advantage of a new generation of outdoor events.
Coke Live Music Festival is a new event in Krakow, Poland which seems to epitomise the ambition running through the region. Taking place in the second weekend of August, the festival has managed to grab a headline performance from none other than Florence & The Machine.
Mikołaj Ziółkowski, Alter Artl, introduces the headline announcement. "It is really pleasant for us, when we know that the Coke Live Music Festival star announcement will make so many music fans in Poland happy; when the artist is so much awaited, the more so that it is the first announced performance this season and the only festival appearance in this part of Europe. Ladies and Gentlemen, the star of Coke Live Music Festival 2013 is Florence and the Machine."
