Florence And The Machine UK Tour
Mercury nominees hit the road
Mercury nominated stars Florence And The Machine are set to hit the road with some of their biggest UK shows to date.
Florence Welch is a well known figure on the London scene. With her unique voice and songwriting ability Welch attracted the attention of Lightspeed Champion and Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell - who wrote a song with Florence Welch.
Forming Florence And The Machine the group were soon snapped up by a major label. Amid increasing hype the flame haired singer waltzed away with a Brit Award before their debut album had even been finished.
Since then, Florence And The Machine have stormed festivals across the UK. Live, Welch really comes into her own - often finishing with a pulsating version of the house classic 'Your Love'.
However it is with her music that Florence Welch established her reputation. The band's self-titled debut album was released earlier this year, and won some fine reviews.
