Flaming Lips Curate ATP

Ohio's legendary psychedelic troupe The Flaming Lips are set to curate the final day of the upcoming All Tomorrow's Parties event in New York, it has been announced.

The ATP events have now spread stateside. After an inaugural event this year the indie-athon will return in the year, with a ton of exciting events. The festival has announced that the final day (September 11th) will be a 'Don't Look Back' themed event, with Suicide performing their self-titled first LP.

The new event will combine music and comedy, with the laughs guided by legendary funnyman David Cross. The Saturday line up so far consists of Animal Collective, Black Dice, Panda Bear and many more.

Flaming Lips will curate the final day, but it is not known which album from their back catalogue they will revisit.

All Tomorrow’s Parties New York 2009 will take place from September 11th-13th at Kutshers Country Club in Monticello, NY.
