King Creosote

Field Day has announce an unusual festival partnership by handing over the keys to one of their stages to another festival - in this case renowned folk event Homefires.

Field Day is one of the summer's top indie events, turning an area of central London into a throng of revellers within spitting distance of traffic. Homefires is a low key event that is traditionally set in Conway Hall in Holborn, London. Dreamed up by singer Adem and close friend Tom Baker (not Doctor Who), Homefires is taking a year out from staging its traditional event in favour of curating an event at Field Day.

The Homefires stage will include some of the finest talent around, including Glaswegian troubadour Alasdair Roberts, Efterklang, Emma Pollock, Fife's own King Creosote and many more.

Field Day takes place in Victoria Park, London on August 9th.
