Featuring Benga, Four Tet, Pearson Sound & more...

The organisers of Field Day have revealed plans for two after parties this weekend.

Held in East London, Field Day has fast established a reputation for catching new music before it breaches the mainstream. Returning for another instalment, the festival has bagged performances from The Horrors, Wild Beasts, John Cale and many more.

Mixing electronic music with indie, Field Day's coalition of organisers aim to keep things fresh with this year's bill featuring plenty of new acts. Ending promptly to avoid disturbing the neighbours, fans can now keep the Field Day vibe alive by attending not one but two after parties.

The Official Field Day After Party takes place in Hearn Street Car Park. Located in Shoreditch the party will feature some high quality producers with Four Tet set to make an appearance.

Gearing up for the release of his FabricLive mix, Four Tet's performance could well feature some of his upcoming tracks. Recent sets have been heavy on the 2-Step, so expect some rare garage cuts to feature prominently.

Elsewhere, David Kennedy will make an appearance under his Pearson Sound guise. One of the most respected producers in bass music, his mixture of soulful productions and nasty re-edits always makes for a storming set.

Other names to watch out for at the Heart Street event include James Holden, Casper C and more.

The Other Official Field Day After Party takes place at XOYO and is driven by the splinters of dubstep. Benga can still pack a mighty punch, and the dubstep pioneer will be joined by Youngman, UK Funky don Roska, Night Slugs lynch-pin L-Vis 1990 and plenty more.

With un-official parties happening across the city, Field Day looks set to continue into the wee, small hours.

Field Day takes place on August 6th.
