FaltyDL is set to take his new album 'Hardcourage' out on tour.
Whilst the Stateside electronic scene might be tainted with stink of EDM, New York has always been a hub for bass culture. The city boasts a thriving reggae scene, which fuelled seismic early dubstep raves such as Dub War.
So a producer like FaltyDL should come as no surprise. What does raise eyebrows, though, is the sheer effervescent nature of his music - a mixture of sprung UK Garage rhythms, bass textures and house flourishes, coming to the fore on new album 'Hardcourage'.
Out now, it's perhaps the best thing the producer has yet put his name alongside. By way of celebration, FaltyDL has now outlined plans for an extensive series of live shows stretching across both sides of the Atlantic.
Set to play London's Oval Space on March 7th, the New York artist will then take his live show to Dublin. Performing dates on the continent, FaltyDL returns to London on March 22nd for a show at XOYO.
Looking ahead, the producer is set to return to the United States for a series of special dates. Invited to support James Blake, the pairing matches two highly inventive artists with differing approaches to the legacy of UK Garage.
FaltyDL UK shows:
7 London Oval Space
8 Dublin Twisted Pepper
16 Manchester Sankeys
22 London XOYO
