New Order to headline

The organisers of EXIT have named the first acts on the line up for this summer's event.

Held in Serbia, EXIT has rapidly blossomed into a unique outdoor event. The festival sits in the shadow of the Medieval fortress, while its dance arena regularly pulls together some of the most in demand DJs on the planet.

Returning for a fresh instalment this summer, EXIT have grabbed a headline performance from New Order. The legendary Manchester band controversially reformed last year, and have played a series of shows around the globe since then.

Due to headline the Serbian event, New Order will draw on the full power of their back catalogue. EXIT general manager Bojan Boskovic is clearly over the moon: “Who can forget timeless classics like 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', 'Bizarre Love Triangle' and of course all time great 'Blue Monday'. I can’t wait for New Order to perform at EXIT 2012 and I know fans will be excited too.”

Elsewhere, Portuguese beat crew Buraka Som Sistema are due to perform on the Fusion Stage. A mixture of European dance culture and African Kuduro rhythms, the group will re-visit last year's full length 'Komba'.

The Dance Arena has an imposing reputation, following years of bedlam with top names. Returning in 2012, EXIT have booked appearances from Luciano, Reboot Live, Kenny Larkin, Robert Dietz and Maayan Nidam for a special Cadenza Records showcase.

Stretching over four days, early bird tickets for EXIT have already sold out. However standard tickets are now on sale - full details HERE.

EXIT runs between July 12th - 15th. Line up:
