Exclusive: Glasvegas on Success

"We Might Never Do Another Album"

Scots indie rockers Glasvegas have been reflecting on their recent success in a new interview with Clashmusic.com, in which drummer Caroline McKay admits "possibly, we might never do another album…"

Glasvegas have had a stunning year. Their slot at T In The Park caused pandemonium as fans queued outside desperate to catch a glimpse of the group. Their debut album gathered sensational reviews, as the band did battle with thrash legends Metallica in one the year's defining chart contests.

In a new interview with Clashmusic.com Caroline McKay admits that "we’d love to have some time off, love to. We can’t wait. This year has been a rollercoaster, and it’s been very exciting, and bizarre".

McKay was asked when the band would make a second album, and replied that "I guess it’s all kind of relative, what’s considered quick when releasing a second album. Possibly, we might never do another album… Or, we might release one next year. What I know is that we’re booked up ‘til the festivals next year, going to Japan and Europe."
