Eugene McGuinness Turns Electric

Songwriter Previews New Album

Liverpool based singer songwriter Eugene McGuinness has turned electric - the acoustic star took to the stage in London last night (September 24th) accompanied by a full band.

With echoes of Dylan at Newport, Eugene McGuinness previewed his new album with a full band - thankfully though, this time round no one booed. The forthcoming debut album will be self-titled, and comes amidst a hype storm surrounding the singer.

The gig in London took place at the 229 Club, and was one of the first shows Eugene McGuinness has played with a full band. Playing much of his forthcoming debut album, the singer also played material from his earlier EP "The Early Learnings Of Eugene McGuinness".

Eugene McGuinness will release his self-titled album on October 13th. The tracklisting is as follows:

'Rings Around Rosa'
'Fonz'
'Wendy Wonders'
'Moscow State Circus'
'Those Old BW Movies'
'Nightshift'
'Atlas'
'Knock Down Ginger'
'Crown The Clown'
'Not So Academic'
'Disneyfied'
'God In Space'
