Eminem On Relapse 2

50 Cent face off expected

American rap megastar Eminem has spoken about what fans can expect from his forthcoming album 'Relapse 2'.

Eminem is one of the biggest figures in the history of rap music. The Detroit star dominates hip hop and American culture at large, and has went on to become one of the best selling artists of the past decade.

Returning this year with his first album in five years, Eminem released 'Relapse' to widespread acclaim. Recorded with long time producer Dr Dre at the controls, the record featured a number of guest appearances.

Since the release of 'Relapse' Eminem has continually hinted at the possibility of releasing another album drawn from the recording sessions.

However in a new interview Eminem has revealed that he is working on a new album - not related to the first instalment of 'Relapse'.

Speaking to Shade 45 the rapper claimed that 'Relapse 2' would see him using producers other than close friend Dr Dre. "The way that it is going right now, Denaun (rapper/producer Kon Artis) has two tracks on the album, and (New Jersey producer) Just Blaze has four, possibly five."

Eminem also claimed that he was set to record a rap battle between himself and 50 Cent. We've kind of done it (rap face-offs) on other records, but not like to the extent on this one," he claimed.

The rapper refused to be drawn on a possible release date for 'Relapse 2' although he did confirm that one song from the 'Relapse' sessions would appear on the forthcoming 'DJ Hero' game.
