El-P and Killer Mike are set to take their Run The Jewels project to London later this year.
Two of the most respected MCs in underground hip hop, El-P and Killer Mike first crossed swords in 2012. Since then, a working relationship has evolved between the two, culminating in Run The Jewels' debut album earlier this year.
A superb distillation of multiple cross-currents running through El-P and Killer Mike's work, the album was followed by a lengthy Stateside tour.
Speaking to Clash, the two MCs confirmed that plans for European shows were already in place. "We’re definitely going to come to the UK, and the major cities in Europe. We’re just working it out right now. We’re just taking things one step at a time – but there is a huge demand for us to come out there, and the fans have been really vocal about it on Twitter and general social media. So, people want us to come there, and we will come there, for sure."
Now Run The Jewels have outlined plans for a one off London show. Taking place at Electric Brixton on November 26th, tickets are on sale now.
