More signs of 'Piramida'...

Efterklang have posted the video for new track 'Hollow Mountain' online - watch it below.
Efterklang's new album promises to be a special experience. 'Piramida' was inspired by Spitsbergen, an abandoned mining settlement just 1,000km from the North Pole.
Using material the band found lying at the site, Efterklang began to build up a bank of sounds which would infiltrate their songwriting. New album 'Piramida' is built on the results of these experiments, and drops on September 24th.
This afternoon Efterklang posted a new track from the album. 'Hollow Mountain' is typically adventurous, and comes equipped with a clip created and directed by Oodls.

Recently, Efterklang have been posting a series of blogs to illuminate the construction of 'Piramida'. Seemingly, the sounds on 'Hollow Mountain' were inspired by an abandoned container the band found in Spitsbergen.
According to Efterklang: "The very first sound and melody you hear on our new song Hollow Mountain is recorded live on this instrument and samples from it are used throughout the rest of the song. We nicknamed this instrument Miss Piggy. It was one of our most favorite discoveries in the ghost town".

'Piramida' is set to be released on September 24th. Alongside this, Efterklang have confirmed a number of British shows:
October
23 Gateshead The Sage
24 Edinburgh Usher Hall
27 Coventry Warwick Arts Centre
28 Brighton Dome
29 Manchester Bridgewater Hall
30 London Barbican
