Edith Bowman, Radio DJ and Clash writer extraordinaire, has successfully given birth to her first child we can exclusively announce.

Edith has been involved with Clash for a number of years now, and all on the team wish her well. The baby boy will be named Rudy Brae Bowman Smith, with both mother and baby doing well.

Edith's pregnancy prevented her from attending the Rockness Festival last weekend, at which long term partner Tom Smith rocked the main stage with a terrific performance. The singer flew straight from the event to the London hospital Edith gave birth in, and is currently reported to be "lightheaded".
