Fab Four get skanking rewrite
_original
Reggae kings Easy Star All Stars are set to give the Fab Four a Jamaican reworking with the release of their new album 'Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band'.

A collective containing some of the finest reggae musicians on the planet, Easy Star All Stars released their debut album 'Dub Side Of The Moon'. A reggae reworking of the Pink Floyg prog classic, it took the hugely acclaimed record and flung it into the echo chamber. What emerged was a surprise success, uniting the dystopic gloom of the original was a redemptive slice of reggae soul.

After a number of hit tours, Easy Star All Stars repeated the trick with the release of 'Radiodread' in 2006. Containing a number of skanking rewrites of Thom Yorke & Co., the album contained such stunning delights as Horace Andy singing 'Airbag'.

Forthcoming album 'Easy Star's Lonely Heart Dub Band' repeats the never-boring puns of the previous releases. Featuring guest stars such as Steel Pulse, Matisyahu, Michael Rose (Black Uhuru), Luciano, U Roy and many more, this album unites some of the finest talent on the Jamaican music scene. What will a reggae version of 'A Day In The Life' sound like? We have but weeks until we find out.

Easy Star All Stars release 'Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band' on April 14th.
